Cloudflare outage disrupted the entire internet
Cloudflare, an internet infrastructure platform, experienced an outage that appeared to affect websites across the internet, including X, Spotify and ChatGPT, on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Cloudflare said the outage was resolved, and all services returned to normal over the subsequent several hours.
Jeff Bezos is back to CEO seat, launching Project Prometheus
Bezos is funding and leading a startup focused on applying AI to the manufacturing and engineering fields, The New York Times reported.
Project Prometheus starts off with $6.2 billion in funding and about 100 employees.
His co-founder and co-CEO is Vik Bajaj, who helped fund a life sciences lab at Alphabet (GOOG), worked on health and therapeutic endeavors and, most recently, led an AI and data science incubator.
Anthropic plans to invest $50 billion into data centers in the US
Anthropic is launching a $50 billion nationwide artificial intelligence infrastructure build-out, starting with custom data centers in Texas and New York.
The facilities, which will be designed to support the company’s rapid enterprise growth and its long-term research agenda, will be developed in partnership with Fluidstack.
